CASTELLO VERRAZZANO
After school on Tuesday, July 2, Joel, Melissa and I went for a tour and wine testing at Castello Verrazzano outside of Greve in Chianti. It is a beautiful villa and estate which was once owned by the Verrazzano family and in which Giovanni da Verrazanno (after whom the Verrazano--spelled differently-- was named) lived.
